Pilot manufacturing has proven to be an important aspect of the research and development process at ChemDesign. Pilot programs generate engineering design data and help define and perfect the manufacturing process. <BR>

Our modern, fully equipped Pilot Plant facility includes stainless steel and glass-lined reactors supported by a full complement of distillation, extraction, separation and drying equipment providing a high degree of flexibility. Fully instrumented, these reactors permit operation over a wide range of conditions and also allow us to handle small-scale production.<BR>

We understand that defining meaningful quality control methods is an integral part of both product characterization and process development. With our expertise in analytical chemistry, ChemDesign's experienced professional staff can develop and optimize analytical methods, or oversee the implementation of your analytical methods, to measure and control processes and verify product quality.<BR>

We develop a Quality Plan for every product addressing key topics such as raw material procurement and inspection, in-process quality requirements, detailed "batch sheet" manufacturing instructions, final product quality requirements, and packaging, storage and delivery requirements.<BR>

Our Quality System provides that up-front quality assurance is designed
into the manufacturing process long before production start-up.<BR>
